Rick And Morty: 10 Most Dangerous Villains
Count Evil Morty as the moment Rick and Morty arrived at the next level.
Though he's been used sparingly since his debut in "Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind," Evil Morty has been one of the most intriguing and dangerous villains on the show.
First off, let's just get this out of the way. He's a Morty. Mortys aren't exactly known to be over-achievers, but Evil Morty managed to control an "evil" Rick using tech hidden away under an eye-patch. At the end of that episode, with his Rick killed by a pack of recently freed Mortys, Evil Morty escapes - only to turn up in the Citadel of Ricks in "Tales from the Citadel" as a candidate for President.
Which he freakin' wins. That's right, a Morty ends up President of the Citadel of Ricks.
While continuity has never been the show's strong suit, the Evil Morty arc returns in season five, where he attempts to escape the Central Finite Curve (destroying the Citadel of Ricks in the process). For those unaware, that's the portion of the multiverse where most Ricks reside. In essence, Evil Morty is trying to escape Rick - any version of him.
He sums it up succinctly in season five's finale, "Rickmurai Jack," saying "That’s what makes me evil… being sick of him. If you’ve ever been sick of him, you’ve been evil, too."
